ARM Security is an ASIAL Grade A1 Monitoring Centre, fully compliant to AS 2201.2:2022.

ARM Security has achieved Grade A1 certification to the new Australian Standard AS 2201.2 2022.

ARM Security is currently one of only three security monitoring businesses in Australia to have achieved this certification following a comprehensive audit undertaken by the Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL).

Grade A1 certification confirms compliance with the new standard AS 2201.2 2022, which replaced the previous standard issued in 2004. The new standard encompasses new requirements for cyber security, IT infrastructure, document management, ISO compliance, maintenance, building structure and staff training.

With the significant changes in the electronic security industry over the last twenty years and the increased vulnerability for IT infrastructure, the new AS 2201.2 2022 requirements ensure industry best practice and are essential in delivering future reliable security monitoring services.

ASIAL Standard requirements include:

  • null
The construction of the monitoring centre, together with its physical attack resistance and fire protection
  • null
Access into the monitoring centre and its mode of operation
  • null
Ventilation systems (their integrity and operation)
  • null
Power supply arrangements (multiple redundancy and standby times)
  • null
    Communications and cyber security
  • null
Redundancy in the monitoring equipment and diligent record-keeping

The ASIAL grading process under Australian Standards forms a core part of ARM Security’s integrity. Our customers benefit from an independent audit process ensuring continuity of compliance.
